ATM CIRCUIT EMULATION TESTING APPARATUS, PARTICULARLY FOR EASILY AND EFFECTIVELY TESTING A DATA PATH OF AN ATM CIRCUIT EMULATION BOARD

PURPOSE: An ATM circuit emulation testing apparatus is provided to test a path of ATM circuit emulation data of a non-standard line speed without using a high-priced equipment by implementing a digital logic circuit as a digital element where a program such as FPGA or CPLD can be performed inside a board. CONSTITUTION: An ATM circuit emulation board(100) includes a line connection unit(110), an AAL1 processor(120), an ATM layer processor(130), a buffer management and switching matching unit(140), a process matching unit(150), a process block(MPC860)(160), a processor SAR matching unit(170), an IPC unit(180), a clock synchronizing unit(190) and a path test logic(200). Arbitrary serial data is generated to perform a path testing with respect to serial data and a clock line between a line connection function and an AAL1 processing function in a board, and in case of a signal which has been loopbacked after passing through an ATM path, it is compared with originally generated serial data to perform a data path testing. Also, data can be generated in the line connection function direction and compared with data which has been loopbacked after passing through an ATM circuit emulation board and a switch fabric(300) of a remote station, to perform a path testing.
