PURPOSE: A movement-preventing device in stop position of an unloader is provided to protect a ship and equipment by installing travel emergency stop devices to travel parts of the unloader and enabling quick stop action in case of a strong wind. CONSTITUTION: A movement-preventing device in top position of an unloader comprises a bridge(8) installed to travel parts of an unloader; a motor(9) fixed to the top of the bridge; a body(12) of a square frame shape fixed to the rear side of the bottom surface of the bridge; clamps(13) fixed to the sides of the inside of the body in a spreading and folding state; roll brackets(17) fixed to the front and rear ends of the body; a lever(28) connected to the upper end of the body and the lower end of the bridge by a shaft; a support roller fixed to the top of the body to support the rear end of the lever; a rope(11a) wound on a drum connected to a hanger and driven by the motor; a pulling roll(27) fixed to the bottom surface of the front end of the lever; a braking rope(15) winding the clamps in an X-shape; and a deviation control part to which the ends of the braking rope are connected. The roll bracket has an impact-absorbing sheave and a moving sheave. The hanger is fixed to the upper end of the support roller. The braking rope is arranged via the impact-absorbing sheave, the moving sheave, and the pulling roll. The deviation control part is installed in the middle of the travel parts of the unloader, to pull and push the braking rope.
