摘要

PURPOSE: A front end module and a fabrication method thereof are provided to fabricate elements in exact size by forming a certain groove or punching on a substrate and filling metal therein, instead of forming the elements by depositing and patterning a metal film on the substrate, thereby improving element characteristics. CONSTITUTION: When a groove(200) piercing through a ceramic substrate(201) is formed to make metal patterns, an insulating substrate is inserted while input/output terminals only are electrically connected between upper/lower substrates. Elements used for phase shifts, switches, and filters are used to form the groove(200) punched on the substrate(201). Input/output terminals of the metal patterns are electrically contacted with the upper/lower substrates by piercing through the insulating substrate.
