PURPOSE: A built-up type block and a wall body using the built-up type block are provided to enable an armature to easily construct a building and to construct the building at low cost. CONSTITUTION: A built-up type block is a frame body having an empty space inside by first and second side plates(4,6) and thickness-forming plates(8,10). Symmetrical fitting projections(12,14,16,18) are each formed to the upper and lower ends, and the right and left ends of the first and second side plates, to pile up built-up type blocks of the same shape to a desired height and width by fitting the built-up type blocks in the upper and lower sides and the right and left sides. Ribs for reinforcing rigidity are formed in the built-up type block.
