PURPOSE: Polypropylene multi-layer non-woven fabric for medical treatment has excellent water repellency, oil repellency, antistatic property, softness and air permeability. The polypropylene multi-layer non-woven fabric is useful for sterile fabric, a gown for operating and operation fabric for a patient. CONSTITUTION: Polypropylene multi-layer non-woven fabric for medical treatment is obtained by the steps of: preparing polypropylene chip having 20-80g/10min. of melt index; melting, mixing and homogenizing the polypropylene chip in extruders(A-2,B-2); melt-spinning the chip through a base; cooling and drawing the chip to manufacture filament; forming a first spun bond web layer and a second spun bond web layer out of the filament on a porous conveyor be preparing polypropylene chip having 800-1300g/10min. of the melt index; melting, mixing and homogenizing the polypropylene chip in an extruder(C-2); melt-spinning the chip through a base; drawing the polymer with air heated and injected from a side nozzle at high speed; forming a third melt blown web layer of microfiber comprised of yarn having 1-5μm of thickness; piling the spun bond layer/ the melt blown layer/ the spun bond layer; heat-adhering the piled layers with a calender(D) to give the layers shape stability; preparing a composition containing 0.4-5.0wt.% of a perfluoro acrylate type oil repellent agent and 0.1-2.0wt.% of an anionic sulfonate type antistatic agent; dipping the piled non-woven fabric into the composition; and then drying and heating the non-woven fabric.
