PURPOSE: A bamboo receptacle and a manufacturing method of the bamboo receptacle are provided to effectively take juice from heated green bamboo by making the juice flow into the receptacle. CONSTITUTION: A bamboo receptacle has a bamboo vessel(1), a slant surfaces(2), and a finishing material(5) of yellow earth dough. The upper side of the bamboo vessel is open and the lower side of the bamboo vessel is hermetic by bamboo joints(6). The slant surface is formed to the upper end section in a state being inclined inward to make juice, which is abstracted when the bamboo vessel is heated, easily run down the inside. The finishing material is arranged to the lower end of the bamboo vessel to enable cooking for many hours without burning of the bamboo vessel although a heat source directly comes in contact with the bamboo vessel. The bamboo vessel has a slant surface(4) formed to the lower end section to expand a heat transfer area from the heat source.
