PURPOSE: Food with enhanced smoke flavor is provided, thereby reinforcing the smoke flavor in food by adding sulfur-containing compound to food, so that treatment of food with smoking or dipping food in smoking liquid can be eliminated. CONSTITUTION: The food with enhanced smoke flavor is prepared by adding sulfur-containing compound into food selected from processed meat product, processed seafood product and vegetables, wherein the sulfur-containing compound is selected from sulfur-containing amino acid, sulfur-containing peptide and sulfur-containing vitamin; the sulfur-containing compound is selected from cysteine, cystine, methionine, taurine, glutathione, glutamylcysteine, cysteinyl glycine, thiamine and salts thereof; and the amount of sulfur-containing compound added is 0.000000001 to 10.0%.
