PURPOSE: To provide a Cr wastewater regenerating system for separating Cr wastewater into purified water and chromic acid and recovering the purified water and chromic acid so that recovered purified water and chromic acid are reused when treating Cr wastewater that causes a severe environmental pollution problem. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus for regenerating Cr wastewater using ion exchange resin comprises a storage tank(1) for storing Cr wastewater; a filtering column(3) connected to the storage tank to receive wastewater of the storage tank by a supply pump(2); a cation column(7) for ion exchanging Cr wastewater by receiving Cr wastewater supplied from the filtering column, and an anion column(8) connected to the cation column; a cartridge filter(21) for filtering wastewater passing through the cation and anion columns; a purified water storage tank(10) for storing treated purified water passing through the cartridge filter so that the treated purified water is inputted into the plating process again; a sulfuric acid storage tank(13) and a sodium hydroxide storage tank connected to the cation and anion columns so that sulfuric acid and sodium hydroxide are supplied into the cation and anion columns to regenerate performance of the cation and anion columns; a hydrochloric acid storage tank connected to the anion column to regenerate hydrochloric acid after using the anion column by regenerating the anion column with sodium hydroxide 5 to 10 times per each cycle; and a waste solution storage tank(23) connected to the foregoing components to treat waste solution by storing waste solution coming out of the components.
