PURPOSE: A robot match control system and an operation method thereof are provided to smoothly operate micro-robots by controlling operation sequence in robot control devices and preventing a loss of instruction data caused by simultaneous light delivery to the micro-robots. CONSTITUTION: A robot match control system comprises infrared transmitters(420,440) installed to a predetermined position of a stadium, to receive predetermined packet data and to deliver the packet data to robots situated in the stadium; plural robot control devices(120,140) for receiving a robot controller's robot operation command; and operation control devices(220,240,300) connecting the robot control devices and infrared transmitters by wire, deciding operation priority of the robot control devices according to sports master's intention, receiving robot operation command signal from each robot control device according to the decided operation priority, producing packet data corresponding to the robot operation command signal, and transmitting the robot operation command signal to the infrared transmitters.
