PURPOSE: A heating package is provided to improve a heat transfer rate through close contact of the heating package and contents, to prevent contamination of contents caused by vapor produced from a chemical reaction through indirect heating, to uniformly heat an article, to last heating time, and to facilitate heating. CONSTITUTION: A heating package(100) has a heat generation bag(21) having a heating element reacting to a liquid and generating heat; a liquid bag(25) having a liquid to be supplied to the heat generation bag and comprising plural layers; and an abstracting strap(50) fixed to the surface of the liquid bag to discharge the liquid of the liquid bag. The heat generation bag is made of a material through which liquid and air pass. A layer coming in contact with the edges of the outside and the inside in the layers is made of the same material as the material of a layer opposed to the outside and the inside. The heating package includes a first heating bag(20) formed by adhering and sealing edges of the outside and inside and making the edges of the liquid bag adhered between the outside and inside; a second heating bag(20') having the same constitution as the first heating bag; and a vapor discharge opening(30) having a recessed part formed by joining at least a part of the edges of the first and second heating bags. Vapor formed by the heat produced by reaction of the heat generation element and the liquid is discharged through the vapor discharge opening. The abstracting strap is exposed to the outside through the vapor discharge opening.
