PURPOSE: An IEEE1394-based one-way ring system for an indoor backbone network is provided to configure an independent service and event home network, and to use a high-speed IEEE1394 interface when constructing an indoor backbone network, thereby easily interworking with next-generation multimedia home appliances. CONSTITUTION: An RG(Residential Gateway)(31) is used to connect with a high-capacity external network.
