PURPOSE: An indoor unit of an air conditioner is provided to cool and heat three-dimensionally by sucking and discharging air through three sides, to replace and wash an air cleaner conveniently by mounting the air cleaner to the air cleaner insertion hole of a front panel, and to change the front color of the indoor unit easily by replacing the color panel of the door. CONSTITUTION: An indoor unit of an air conditioner is composed of a base(50), a cabinet(60) arranged in the upper part of the base, a front panel(70) arranged in the front of the cabinet and composed of a front air intake port(70a) from the front of the base, left and right air intake ports(70c) formed at both lower parts, an upper air discharge port(72a) and left and right air discharge ports(72c) formed at both upper parts, a blower(80) sucking air through the air intake ports and discharging air through the air discharge ports, and a heat exchanger(90) exchanging heat with refrigerant and air blowing from the blower.
