PURPOSE: A write-once information storage medium and an LRA(Latest Recorded Address) information update method in the write-once information storage medium are provided to easily and quickly search for an area where the latest file system information is recorded, thereby shortening a preparation time required for using the medium. CONSTITUTION: Data is recorded on a write-once information storage medium. The latest file system information is recorded according to a command of a host. LRA information including position information where the latest file system information is recorded is recorded according to an LRA information update command received from the host. The LRA information is updated. When updating the LRA information, the LRA is recorded in a TDMA(Temporary Disk Management Area).
