PURPOSE: A charger for mobile phones in a vehicle having a lighting device and a lighting device for the charger are provided to illuminate surrounding area during charging the mobile phone by using a flexible cable coupling a charging connector with a power socket. CONSTITUTION: A charger for mobile phones in a vehicle includes a power connection plug(200), a conductive cable(202), a charging connector(300), and a lighting device(306). The power connection plug is coupled with a power socket(110) providing a charging source. The charging connector receives power via the conductive cable and converts the power to a form adequate to charge the mobile phone. The lighting device is implemented on the charging connector to illuminate surrounding area by using the power from the charging source.
