PURPOSE: A ventilating unit of a split type air conditioner is provided to reduce heat loss in ventilating air by exchanging heat between internal air discharged outdoors and external air supplied indoors, and to prevent inflow of stink from external air by making the heat exchanger of loess components. CONSTITUTION: A ventilating unit of an air conditioner is composed of a casing installed in an indoor unit of the air conditioner and composed of an inlet flowing indoor air in, an outlet discharging outdoor air, an indoor air discharge passage discharging indoor air outdoors and an outdoor air suction passage sucking outdoor air indoors, a driving motor(120) mounted in the casing, a ventilating fan installed in a rotating shaft of the driving motor to discharge indoor air outdoors and supply outdoor air indoors, a ventilating hose(150) connected to the casing and partially arranged outdoors to guide discharge of indoor air and suction of outdoor air, and a heat exchanger(140) mounted in the intersection of the indoor air discharge passage and the outdoor air suction passage to exchange heat between indoor air and outdoor air and deodorize outdoor air.
