PURPOSE: A motor for a washing machine is provided to increase the output power of the washing machine by increasing magnetic flux density by forming a magnetic field in internal and external directions of a stator coil. CONSTITUTION: A motor for a washing machine includes a rotor(110) and a stator(120). The rotor includes an external magnet and an inner magnet which is spaced with a predetermined distance from the external magnet in a radius direction. The stator includes a stator coil(2) which faces the external and internal magnets with a predetermined distance. Each of the external and internal magnets is supported by an external support(111) or an internal support(113).
