Purpose: an automatic meter reading system and its method are arranged to remove sound and short chatter time in a hardware and remove long chatter time in a software therefore be accurately read the measurement result of a pulsating metering device. Construction: it is denoised and is vibrated according to a pulse input part comprising from the pulsed quantity that a metering device used for precise metering generates, a connector (240) is connected to a read switch and transfer pulse amount for metering device. One bias power supply voltage (Vcc) drives a circuit using a bias voltage. Transient voltage suppressor (TVS) is connected to connector and a ground, and circuit is prevented to be compromised when a high voltage is entered by removing an overtension. As by receiving bias voltage height, the first pull-up resistor (R1) maintains the state of an interconnection line. Second pull-up resistor (R2) is connected to connector and TVS and the first pull-up resistor, maintains the state of interconnection line as receiving a voltage (Vb) height by the first pull-up resistor. One condenser (C1) is connected to the first and second pull-up resistors, removes sound and vibration in circuit. Third platform resistor (R3) receives bias voltage, sound is removed, by the pulsed quantity input port (P1) for being connected to a control unit. One transistor (TR1) has an emitter, is connected to third platform resistor and the pulsed quantity input port of control unit, has the base for being connected to the first and second pull-up resistors and condenser, has the collector for being connected to ground, removes sound in circuit.
