摘要

PURPOSE: An IrDA(Infrared Data Association) signal conversion module is provided to supply an interface between a UART communication signal and an IrDA communication signal, thereby stably supplying an interface between a 8051 chip and an infrared transceiver, consequently a signal conversion between an infrared communication device and a system can be effectively performed. CONSTITUTION: A signal transmitted from a UART module(1) is outputted to either an SIR(Serial Infrared) module(2) or a modulation module(3). The SIR module(2) carries out a conversion for reducing a signal of a UART core into a shorter signal, and outputs converted results to an infrared transceiver via the modulation module(3). The SIR module(2) modulates a signal inputted through the modulation module(3) from the infrared transceiver into an elongated signal, and sends the signal to the UART module(1). The modulation module(3) modulates a signal directly transmitted from the UART module(1) to convert the signal, and sends the converted signal to the infrared transceiver.
