PURPOSE: A device for deciding a driving state of a moving car to warn a sign of drowsy driving in a wireless communication terminal and a method therefor are provided to consider a sign of drowsy driving if a fluctuation band of a driving speed detected for a certain time is smaller than a fluctuation band of a normal driving speed, thereby warning a driver of the sign of the drowsy driving. CONSTITUTION: A terminal receives a reference driving speed, a fluctuation band of a real-time driving speed, a fluctuation band of a real-time steering angle, and a real-time fluctuation to store the received information(300). If the terminal is connected to a hands-free unit(301), the terminal confirms whether a mobile car is started(302). If so, an ECU(Electronic Control Unit) system obtains driving speed data and steering angle data(303), and checks whether a current driving speed is faster than the reference driving speed(304). If so, the system checks whether a difference between a previous steering angle and a current steering angle is smaller than the fluctuation band of the real-time steering angle(305). If so, the system warns of a signal of drowsy driving(306). When a driver confirms the warning(307), the terminal releases the warning(308).
