GLOVE BOX STRUCTURE FOR A VEHICLE FOR PROMOTING MAXIMIZATION OF THE COLLISION PERFORMANCE BY CHANGING JUST A REINFORCING PLATE IN A DESIGN CHANGE OF THE GLOVE BOX

PURPOSE: A glove box structure for a vehicle is provided to reduce the cost through relative reduction of the mold cost in changing the design of the glove box and to remove inferior quality factors caused by a sink phenomenon owing to thick thickness of a housing and a front cover. CONSTITUTION: A glove box structure for a vehicle comprises a housing(20) in which a receiving case(22) of a glove box(10) is formed; a reinforcing plate(30) combined to the front(24) of the housing; and a front cover(40) combined to the reinforcing plate. Base ribs(26) are formed to the front of the housing. Reinforcing ribs(32) are formed to the reinforcing plate. The front cover constitutes the exterior of the glove box. The thickness of the reinforcing plate is thicker than the thickness of the housing. The thickness of the housing is thicker than the thickness of the front cover.
