PURPOSE: To provide an apparatus for removing foreign materials on outlet seal rolls of return duct in a bright annealing furnace by periodically cleaning the surface of the seal rolls even during operation of the bright annealing furnace. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for removing foreign materials on outlet seal rolls(108) of return duct(104) in a bright annealing furnace comprises a housing(10) installed in a return duct of the bright annealing furnace ins put on the side surface of the outlet seal rolls; a cleaning fiber(20) installed inside the housing and contacted with the surface of the seal rolls to clean the seal rolls; and an adhesion means comprising a moving member(40) installed inside the housing such that the moving member is slid toward the seal rolls, a driving cylinder(41) installed in the housing and connected to the moving member to move the moving member, a pressing member installed on the backside of the cleaning fiber to press the cleaning fiber to the seal rolls, and an operation cylinder(43) installed at the moving member and connected to the pressing member to drive the pressing member, wherein the cleaning fiber is selectively adhered to the seal rolls by the adhesion means if it is necessary.
