PURPOSE: A display panel for a display device and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to form channels having the same electrical characteristic by arranging the channel so as to have integer multiple relation and by designing pixel pitches so as to be integer multiple of a moving direction of a laser beam or a substrate. CONSTITUTION: A display panel includes an insulating substrate(110), a plurality of semiconductor layers, a gate insulating layer, a plurality of gate lines, a first interlayer dielectric(801), a plurality of data lines, a drain electrode, a second interlayer dielectric(802), and a pixel electrode(190). The insulating substrate includes plural pixel regions arranged in a matrix shape. The gate insulating layer is formed on the semiconductor layer. The gate lines include gate electrodes overlapped with a channel portion in the semiconductor layer. The first interlayer dielectric is formed on the gate line. The data lines include a source electrode connected with the semiconductor layer. The drain electrode faces the source electrode on the basis of the channel portion. The second interlayer dielectric is formed on the data lines. The pixel electrode is coupled with the drain electrode on the basis of the channel portion. The channel portions are not aligned in a straight line.
