PURPOSE: A kimchi refrigerator containing a thin ice forming means to form a thin coat of ice only on the surface of moisture(soup) of food contained inside the storage containers is provided. Therefore, it does not freeze kimchi having a large quantity of moisture and prevents change in taste. CONSTITUTION: The kimchi refrigerator contains: a case forming an appearance; a chamber(130) which is formed inside the case and forms a predetermined size of a storage room; a plurality of storage containers(120) being received inside the chamber; a temperature control means which is formed between the case and chamber and contains a freezing cycle to control the internal temperature of the chamber; and a thin ice forming means(160) which is formed inside the chamber and operates to form a thin coat of ice on the surface of moisture(soup) of food contained inside the storage containers. The thin ice forming means contains an ultrasonic oscillator and a piezoelectric film.
