PURPOSE: A lubricant supply device of a reciprocating compressor is provided to prevent wear from dry friction of a sliding part between the cylinder and the piston by feeding lubricant in starting early without the dead volume in the front of the lubricant piston, and to increase the productivity by simplifying the structure and the assembling process. CONSTITUTION: A reciprocating compressor includes a casing(10) filled with lubricant, a frame vibrated and installed in the casing, a reciprocating motor(30) linearly reciprocating a mover, a piston compressing refrigerant gas by reciprocating linearly in the cylinder and a resonant spring guiding linear reciprocating motion of the piston. A lubricant suction part(110) of a lubricant supply device comprises a lubricant cylinder(111) penetrating the lower part of a front frame, a lubricant piston(112) slid and inserted to the lubricant cylinder, a lubricant spring(113) elastically supporting the rear end of the lubricant piston and relatively moving the lubricant piston to vibration of the frame unit, a lubricant valve(114) opening the lubricant cylinder and the lubricant supply passage in front of the lubricant piston, and a lubricant cover(116) connecting the front of the lubricant cylinder and the lubricant supply passage by containing the lubricant valve.
