PURPOSE: A method for remotely controlling a counter camera of a mobile communication terminal is provided to allocate channel transmitting camera control data, and to remotely control the counter camera during a video call, thereby obtaining desired video information to freely see counter background. CONSTITUTION: A user chooses a camera remote control menu, and operates a keypad to command zoom and direction moving operations. A user terminal allocates a dedicated control channel for a camera control, and transmits camera control commands to a counter terminal through a transport channel, DCH1(Dedicated Channel). The counter camera decodes and demultiplexes a packet transmitted through the DCH1, and transmits the camera control commands to a device driver terminal by referring to an MAC header. The device driver terminal interprets the camera control commands, and controls camera directions or zoom operations according to a corresponding command.
