SIMPLE AND PROMPT FILTRATION SYSTEM FOR SMALL WATERWORKS USING SEQUENTIAL FILTRATION THROUGH GERMANIUM STONE OR COBBLE, PEBBLE, AND GRANULE

PURPOSE: To provide a simple and prompt filtration system for small waterworks, which is able to automatically filter raw water by allowing the raw water to pass through a screen plate where germanium stone or cobble, pebble, granular activated carbon and the like are packed and has a permanent or a semi-permanent life span. CONSTITUTION: A sludge chamber (3) is located at the lowermost end part of a filter (22) at a regular height from a bottom thereof, a support (2) is placed on the sludge chamber, and germanium stone or cobble (6), pebble (7) and granule (8) are put on the support in sequence. A first screen plate (9) is placed on the granule to filter fine dusts and foreign materials, thereby collecting the dusts and foreign materials in the sludge chamber. Contaminated water is filtered and purified through granule (10), a second screen (11), a third screen (13), granular activated carbon (14), and a fourth screen (15), and then discharged through a purified water outflow valve (17).
