PURPOSE: A rack bar support structure of a power steering system is provided to keep existing function and performance for supporting a rack bar and to simplify the number of parts and assembly processes by shortening a charging groove of a cylinder tube and functioning a rack bush as a rack stopper. CONSTITUTION: A rack bar support structure of a power steering system is composed of a charging groove(1a) formed in the end of a cylinder tube(1) installed with a rack bar(2); a ring groove(1b) formed at the end of an inlet of the charging groove; a rack bush(3) interposed between the charging groove and the rack bar; and a C-shaped stop ring(5) disposed in the ring groove to stop movement of the rack bush. In an assembly process, an oil seal(4) and the rack bush are inserted and mounted in the charging groove of the cylinder tube and then the C-shaped stop ring is fitted into the ring groove.
