PURPOSE: A group message service system using mobile terminals and a method thereof are provided to efficiently transfer a voice message to each member belonging to a specific group as a server transmits a voice message for an important item to each member according to reservation details if a service subscriber previously stores the voice message in the server and reserves the notification of the voice message. CONSTITUTION: If a voice message is recorded by a user(S201), a group message service server stores it in a notification message box. The user selects a specific group and the representative of the group(S202), and inputs information on notification conditions(S203). If notification time comes according to the notification conditions(S204), the server attempts a call to each member's mobile phone number sequentially or collectively(S205). If a member receives the call(S206), the server sends the recorded voice message to the member's mobile terminal(S207). If the output of the voice message is completed or a message confirmation response is generated from the member's mobile terminal(S208), the server transmits a short message to the representative's mobile terminal in order to inform him that the voice message has been successfully forwarded to the member(S209).
