摘要

PURPOSE: An on/off test method in an FEM(Front End Module) and an apparatus thereof are provided to lower the unit cost of an on/off test equipment by using few probes. CONSTITUTION: In order to execute an on/off test for the SMT surface(a) and bottom surface in an FEM(300), an on/off test substrate(320) is laid below the FEM(300). Below the substrate(320), a metal plate(330) is installed. A closed circuit is formed as the SMT surface(a) and the metal plate(330) are connected to a probe(310). Through the closed circuit, the probe(310) is physically and electrically contacted with the test pads of a test target LTCC element. In other words, when the probe(310) is connected with 'a' and the metal plate(330), a test signal inputted to 'a' through the probe(310) is transmitted to 'c' through a via. The test signal, transmitted to 'c', is passed through a metal pin, which touches 'c' in the substrate(320). Then the test signal is transmitted to the probe(310) through the metal plate(330).
