LCD HAVING ARRAY SUBSTRATE FORMED WITH FIRST PIXEL ELECTRODES REMOVED AT PARTS FOR COMMON VOLTAGE LINE CUTTING FOR REPAIR

PURPOSE: An LCD is provided to keep insulation state between first pixel electrodes and common voltage lines for repairing short of data lines by the common voltage lines. CONSTITUTION: An LCD includes common voltage lines(400) for keeping signal voltages for a predetermined time period until next signal voltages are applied, and first and second pixel electrodes for applying the signal voltages to each pixel area(Px1-Px4). In the common voltage lines, first to fifth common voltage lines(410-440,460) are positioned in the pixel areas, wherein a plurality of the fifth common voltage lines are inclined by a predetermined angle with respect to the first to the fourth and connected to the first to the fourth. The first pixel electrodes are positioned on the common voltage lines and apart from each other by a predetermined distance per pixel area for insulating the pixel areas from each other. The first pixel electrodes overlapping the fifth common voltage lines are partially removed, so that these pixel electrodes apply pixel voltages per area defined by the fifth common voltage lines.
