METHOD FOR EXCHANGING MILEAGE OF AIRLINE AND GAME MONEY, AND METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR OFFERING GAME SERVICE IN AIRPLANE THROUGH LAN USING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A method for exchanging mileage of an airline company and game money, and the method and a system for offering a game service in an airplane through the LAN using the same are provided to enable a passenger to play a game alone or with other passenger by using the game money exchanged from the mileage of the airline company and a game server installed in the airplane. CONSTITUTION: The system comprises an online airline ticket issuing system(1), a departure airport server(2), an onboard game server(3a), and an arrival airport server(4). The online airline ticket issuing system receives/processes a request for exchanging the mileage of the airline company for the game money from the passengers(10,11) through PCs(101,111) connected to the Internet. For exchanging the mileage, a main server(1a) refers to a passenger-mileage database(1b) storing mileage data accumulated to each passenger. The onboard game server offers services such as the game and shopping to the passenger through a touch screen client terminal during transport from a departure airport to an arrival airport based on the passenger-mileage database(3b) synchronized with the departure airport server.
