PURPOSE: A method for removing a received interference signal from an STBC-OFDMA(Space-Time Block Coded Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing) system in high-speed mobile channels is provided to reduce inter-channel interference and a peak-to-average power ratio by using an encoder at a transmitter having a 1/2 coding ratio. CONSTITUTION: A gain of a coupled channel is estimated in a receiver when the STBC-OFDM system is used in a time-varying channel. A first temporary determination symbol is obtained by comparing estimated gains. The first temporary determination symbol is used to obtain a second temporary determination symbol. A self-channel interference term is removed by using the second temporary determination symbol and a third temporary determination symbol is obtained. The third temporary determination symbol is used to obtain a final data symbol.
