METHOD FOR TRANSIENT EVENT MAPPING IN THE HEART OF A PATIENT, CAPABLE OF IMPROVING ACCURACY OF CARDIAC TISSUE ABLATION

PURPOSE: A method for a transient event mapping in the heart of a patient is provided to achieve improvement in geometric and electrical mapping of the heart, and enhance the accuracy of cardiac tissue ablation for treatment of transient cardiac events. CONSTITUTION: A method comprises a step of recording geometric information at a plurality of time points within a plurality of cardiac cycles of a heart(24) of a patient(26); a step of sequentially detecting a transient event occurred in the heart during a cardiac cycle; a step of checking the time of occurrence of the transient event in the cardiac cycle while the transient event is being generated; and a step of displaying a map of the heart with respect to the checked time of the occurrence and the geometric information recorded at a time point within the cardiac cycle corresponding to the time where the transient event has occurred.
