PURPOSE: An endoscope hood is provided to perform an observation while ensuring the view angle of an observation optical system at the state where the distance between an objective part and an observation window arranged in the insertion portion of an endoscope is set to a predetermined level. CONSTITUTION: An endoscope hood comprises a protrusion and a ridge(23). The protrusion is arranged at an insertion portion of an endoscope having a tube channel with a suction function, and protruded further in the forward view direction than the front end of an observation optical member for observing an object. The ridge is formed on at least a certain part of the protrusion, and has a slope formed such that the thickness of the ridge decreases toward the forward view direction. At least a part of the opening of the tube channel having the suction function is formed on the slope. The position of the opening closest to the front view direction, from among the openings formed on the slope, is formed closer to the view direction than the position of the front end of the protrusion arranged near the opening of the tube channel having the suction function.
