MIST-TYPE STERILIZATION SYSTEM FOR USING MIST OF CHEMICAL STERILIZING AGENT TO STERILIZE MEDICAL INSTRUMENTS

PURPOSE: A sterilization system is provided to use mist of chemical sterilizing agent to sterilize medical instruments, which moves mist effectively to fill a sterilization chamber and covers the surface of instruments to be sterilized. CONSTITUTION: The sterilizing method comprises the steps of: putting an object into a chamber; reducing pressure in a chamber to the first pressure; introducing mist containing chemical sterilizing agent into the chamber; and diffusing the mist through the chamber to touch an object. The first pressure is lower than atmospheric pressure and higher than vapor pressure of a sterilizing agent, therefore mist is diffused through a chamber.
