PURPOSE: Provided are a label which has a vent filtering function and can provide a ventilation housing of low cost and a ventilation housing containing the label. CONSTITUTION: The label(1) comprises an ink accommodation layer(2) and a pressure sensitive adhesive layer(3) for adhering the ink accommodation layer to a body to be coated, wherein the ink accommodation layer is an air permeable porous body comprising at least one resin selected from polytetrafluoroethylene and polyolefin, and a ventilation hole(4) which is extended to the thickness direction from the one side of the pressure sensitive adhesive layer to the other side and where the gas has penetrated through the ink accommodation layer penetrates, is provided at least in the pressure sensitive adhesive layer. Preferably the label comprises further an air permeable support layer located between the ink accommodation layer and the pressure sensitive adhesive layer.
