PURPOSE: A hose coupler for a suction port of a water pump is provided to insulate inflow of air in the connection portion by sealing and compressing the O-ring plate outside the suction hose in assembling the female screw of the tightening unit with the male screw of the coupler. CONSTITUTION: A female screw(10) is formed in a coupler(1), and a male screw(11) is arranged in the other side of the coupler. A recessed groove(12) and a hose supporting pipe(13) are formed sequentially in the wall of the male screw of the coupler. An overlapped O-ring plate(20) is inserted to the inner wall of the recessed grove of the coupler, and an annular protruded part(30) is formed inward in the end of a tightening unit(2) combined with the male screw of the coupler. A female screw(31) is formed in the inner wall of the tightening unit, and combined with the male screw of the coupler.
