PURPOSE: To provide a gold color electric coating method that obtains gold coating effect by realizing gold color by electric coating, maintains the original coating state for long time by reinforcing strength and life of gold coating compared with conventional gold coating and prevents environmental pollution by consistently filtering and discharging wastewater generated from processes. CONSTITUTION: The electric coating method for gold color comprises: a first pickling process(S100) of washing the coating object after cleaning the surface of a coating object using an acid solution; a pre-degreasing process(S120) of removing oil components of the surface of the coating object by applying an alkali solution to the coating object; an electrolytic degreasing process(S130) of removing contaminants on the surface of the coating object by dipping the coating object into a electrolyte; an alkali copper coating process(S140) of coating copper on the coating object in an alkali solution; a second pickling process(S150) of washing the coating object after dipping the alkali copper coating process completed coating object into an acid solution, thereby cleaning the surface of the coating object; a copper sulfate coating process(S160) of coating copper sulfate on the coating object by dipping the second pickling process completed coating object into a copper sulfate coating solution; a gold color coating process(S180) of coating gold color on the coating object as fixing a reference voltage to a range of 10 to 150V and increasing or decreasing a electrodeposition time between 10 to 120 seconds according to desired color and thickness after dipping the coating object into a bath filled with a mixed solution of an undiluted coating solution, a solvent and three color dyes; a finish degreasing process(S190) of removing residual dross by adding an alkali solution to the gold color coating process completed coating object; and a drying process(S200) of drying the coating object by performing hot air drying, infrared drying or heat drying on the finish degreasing process completed coating object at a temperature of 80 to 120 deg.C.
