COVER ASSEMBLY FOR PREVENTING WATER LEAKAGE FROM HOPPER DURING LEFTOVER FOOD DISPOSAL BY IMPROVING BINDING FORCE OF HOPPER FORMED ON BODY OF LEFTOVER FOOD DISPOSER AND COVER

PURPOSE: To provide a cover assembly of leftover food disposer for preventing moisture generated from an agitation tank during leftover food disposal from being leaked through a hopper by completely adhering a cover to a body of the leftover food disposer. CONSTITUTION: In a leftover food disposer for agitating and decomposing leftover food injected into an agitation tank installed in a body of the leftover food disposer, the cover assembly of the leftover food disposer comprises: a plate(111) for opening and closing a hopper of the leftover food disposer body; a first rib(112) and a second rib(113) projected from the edge of the inner surface of the plate with being spaced from one another in a certain distance; and a leakage preventing material(114) elastically fixed to a space between the first rib and the second rib, wherein opening-and-closing cylinders(115) for opening and closing the plate from/to the hopper are mounted on the side surfaces of the plate, one end of the opening-and-closing cylinders is connected to a bracket(116) fixed to the leftover food disposer body through a hinge shaft(117), a rod(115a) is installed at the other end of the opening-and-closing cylinders such that the rod is expanded and contracted, and an end of the rod is connected to a connection member(118) fixed to the side surface of the plate.
