FAN AND SHROUD ASSEMBLY IN WHICH A FAN IS MOUNTED AND INCLINED TO A SHROUD WITH PLURAL BYPASS HOLES AND A COUNTER FLOW RESTRICTING SILL

PURPOSE: A fan and shroud assembly is provided to improve cooling performance by increasing blowing efficiency, and to reduce noise by forming plural bypass holes in the large surface of the shroud and a counter flow restricting sill between the band of the fan and the housing of the shroud. CONSTITUTION: A fan(30) is installed eccentrically in a shroud of a fan and shroud assembly, and plural bypass holes are formed in the large surface of the shroud to discharge air without passing through the fan. The fan is composed of a hub(32) combined with a rotating shaft of a motor, plural blades(34) formed in the outer periphery of the hub and a band(36) connecting ends of the blades. The shroud comprises a motor supporting unit supporting the motor, a stator extended from the motor supporting unit in radial direction, a housing(56) connecting the end of the stator in the circular shape, and a hood(58) extended from the housing. The motor supporting unit and the housing are inclined to the center of the shroud.
