PURPOSE: A remote controller having hot keys of a touch screen type and a control method thereof are provided to have a touch screen for implementing special functions of each equipment, thereby effectively controlling each equipment with hot keys without inconvenience caused by narrowed button intervals and a large-sized remote controller.
