SYSTEM FOR IDENTIFYING AND TRACKING REMOTE POSITION BY USING SOCKET AT NAVIGATION TERMINAL, ESPECIALLY TRACKING POSITION OF POLICE AS WELL AS POSITION OF STOLEN ARTICLE

PURPOSE: A system for identifying and tracking the remote position by using the socket at the navigation terminal is provided to arrest the criminal by identifying and tracking the position of the stolen article in real time. CONSTITUTION: A system for identifying and tracking the remote position by using the socket at the navigation terminal includes a wireless communication network(4), an internet network(5), a relay server(6), a global positioning system(GPS) communication terminal(8) and a navigation terminal(1). The relay server performs the socket matching so as to directly transmit and receive by connecting the GPS communication terminal to the navigation terminal through the TCP/IP socket using the wireless communication network and the Internet network. The GPS communication terminal is provided with a GPS receiver(8a), a wireless communication network, the internet network and the CDMA(8b). The navigation terminal receives the satellite data from the relay server through the internet network by using the socket of TCP/IP. And, the navigation terminal is provided with the map information to identify and track the position of the object by processing the received satellite data.
