ANTIVIRUS SYSTEM FOR CHECKING/CURING VIRUS ON PARALLEL PROCESSING SYSTEM

PURPOSE: An antivirus system for checking/curing virus on a parallel processing system is provided to enhance a virus checking/curing speed by using a parallel processing technology and enhance a virus checking efficiency by applying a priority to virus checking. CONSTITUTION: An antivirus monitor(100) assigns an execution pattern of an antivirus engine(200) according to load of each CPU by being loaded to one CPU of the parallel processing system, respectively forms the antivirus engine according to the execution pattern assigned to each CPU, and executes the antivirus engine through each CPU. The antivirus engine checks/processes the virus included in a virus information database(300) according to dynamic assignment of different execution patterns assignment while being loaded/executed more than 2 CPUs under control of the antivirus monitor. The antivirus monitor includes a CPU load measurer(110), an execution pattern assigner(120), an engine former(130), and an engine executor(140).
