PURPOSE: A reverse pilot channel transmitting method and a channel estimating method through mobile communication are provided to determine pilot channel transmission timing in a mobile station, and to estimate a channel by using a pilot channel, so that a base station can more exactly estimate a reverse channel, thereby improving a decoding performance. CONSTITUTION: A system transmits an R-SPICH(Reverse-Second Pilot Channel) during a certain time(41), and transmits the R-SPICH by extending as much as the certain time(42). When transmitting the R-SPICH, the system determines a transmission power level of the R-SPICH as the certain time before starting to transmit the nth frame of an R-ESCH(Reverse-Enhance Supplement Channel), and transmits the nth frame of the R-ESCH. After sending the nth frame of the R-ESCH, the system transmits the R-SPICH by extending as much as the certain time.
