PURPOSE: A device for preventing heat damage of a cooling fan is provided to prevent heat damage caused by superheating of a cooling fan motor by leading air in the atmosphere to a motor side from the front side of the cooling fan in rotating the cooling fan. CONSTITUTION: In a cooling fan, the outer peripheries of plural blades(22) formed in a streamline shape are connected to an annular ring(23) and the inner peripheries are connected to the outer periphery of a hub(21) formed in a cylindrical shape to cover a driving motor. In a device for preventing heat damage of the cooling fan, air inflow holes(25), to make air led toward the front of the cooling fan flow to the inside of the hub, are formed in the middle of the front of the hub. A cutoff membrane(30) of a plate shape is attached to the inside of the air inlet hole to control the opening degree of the air inflow hole.
