PURPOSE: A method for detecting feature parameters and feature intervals of magnetocardiography is provided to increase detection accuracy by using a superconducting quantum interference device for detecting multi-channel magnetocardiography signals. CONSTITUTION: A multi-channel magnetocardiography signal is received(101) from outside devices. The multi-channel magnetocardiography signal is pre-processed to enhance a signal-to-noise ratio. An envelope of the multi-channel magnetocardiography signal is detected(103) by obtaining minimal and maximal values at every sampling intervals. A difference between maximal-connected lines and minimal-connected lines is calculated(104). The difference is emphasized(105). A maximum value of the emphasized difference is obtained and an arbitrary threshold value is set to detect an R wave(106). Positions of P and Q waves preceding the detected R wave and S and T waves following the R wave are obtained(107). Start and end points from detected feature parameters of each of the waves are detected(108). Feature intervals are calculated based on the detected start and end points.
