PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for transceiving the moving path information by a global positioning system(GPS) are provided to share a predetermined moving path with other person by transmitting the predetermined moving path to the other person and receiving the predetermined moving path by the other person. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for transceiving the moving path information by a global positioning system(GPS) includes a GPS module(100), a navigation module(200), a data base(350), a data process module(300) and a mobile communication module(400). The GPS module receives the position information by the coordinate from the GPS satellite. The navigation module displays the predetermined moving path on the map based on the position information received form the GPS receiving module and informs user of the predetermined moving path. The data base stores the predetermined moving path data displayed on the map by using the navigation module. The data process module controls the predetermined moving path data storage to the database at the navigation module. And, the mobile communication module transmits or receives the predetermined moving path data stored at the database through the wireless data network by the control of the data process module.
