SMALL SIZED ORE SCREENING APPARATUS COMPRISING FRAME, SCREEN BELT AND GUIDE TO EFFECTIVELY PREVENT CLOGGING OF SCREEN APERTURES

PURPOSE: To provide an apparatus for effectively preventing apertures of screen from being clogged to improve an overall apparatus workability and sorting fine ore from small sized ore more smoothly to prevent substantial operation troubles such as instable blast furnace circumstances due to charging of fine ore into blast furnace. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus(1) for screening small sized ore for blast furnace comprises a frame vibrated by a vibrator driven by a motor; a screen belt(50) which is installed on the frame in such a manner that the screen belt is rotationally driven along an endless track by a driving means, and on which apertures(52) are integrally formed to sort fine ore from small sized ore; and a guide for guiding discharge of fine ore sorted from the screen belt, wherein the screen belt driving means comprises a driving pulley, a driven pulley(34), a plurality of guide pulleys(36) and a tension pulley, wherein the driving and driven pulleys of the driving means are consisted of center projection type pulleys in which diameter of the pulleys is reduced to both sides from the center of the pulleys so that small sized ore is sorted by the screen belt as small sized ore is distributed on the screen belt through the driving and driven pulleys, and wherein the apparatus further comprises curtain members(54) formed on an edge part of the screen belt to prevent ore from being leaked to the outside.
