摘要

PURPOSE: A mobile communication terminal equipped with a mobile platform supporting common control of an I/O(Input/Output) using a common API(Application Programming Interface) and an I/O device controlling method using the same are provided to enable a wireless Internet platform-based application to easily control diverse devices installed to the mobile terminal through the common/standardized API. CONSTITUTION: An I/O interface layer(31) module provides interfaces with the I/O device(50) installed to the mobile terminal. A platform application layer module(32) makes/registers function for each I/O device to the platform. An API layer module(33) commonly controls the multiple I/O devices. The I/O device is controller by calling the corresponding function registered to the platform according to a type of the I/O device.
