摘要

PURPOSE: Oil supply structure of a variable valve timing device is provided to make the variable valve timing device secure reliable response property in all operation zones of an engine by automatically increasing pressure of oil supplied to the variable valve timing device if temperature of oil rises. CONSTITUTION: In oil supply structure of a variable valve timing device, plural bimetal blocks(21) are arranged to an oil supply pipe(13) between an oil pump(11) and the variable valve timing device. The bimetal block is deformed to reduce flow-sectional area of the oil supply pipe according to rise of temperature of oil. In the bimetal block, a metal, a coefficient of thermal expansion of which is small, is arranged to the inside of the oil supply pipe and a metal, a coefficient of thermal expansion of which is large, is arranged to the outside of the oil supply pipe. A free end of the bimetal block is deformed toward the inside of the oil supply pipe in a high-temperature zone in a temperature range of oil flowing in the oil supply pipe.
